As of Fall 2012, Johns Hopkins has the following job openings that are relevant to machine learning researchers. (This list is not necessarily complete.) For full consideration, please get your materials in by the italicized dates.
- Department of Computer Science [Dec. 15]: Tenure-track positions at any level. The department currently has a strong interest in hiring in machine learning.
- Department of Cognitive Science [Nov. 1]: Tenure-track position at any level, in conjunction with the University’s new “Science of Learning” initiative.
- Human Language Technology Center of Excellence [Jan. 4]: Openings for outstanding machine learning researchers, as well as sabbatical visitors.
- Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering[Dec. 31]: Tenure-track positions at any level. All areas will be considered; not specifically targeted at ML.
